This course will provide an overview of the current critical care landscape, discuss three kidney replacement therapies (KRTs) used in the critical care setting, summarize the KDIGO guidelines on use of modalities in critically ill patients, describe five factors that impact filter life in continuous kidney replacement therapy (CKRT) and major causes of acute kidney injury (AKI).
