this impacts on availability, sustainability and cost of dialysis.\u00a0 As co-chair of the International Home Dialysis Consortium, Edwina Brown will outline how this joint project of ISN and ISPD is contributing to the goal of implementing means to promote PD globally.\u00a0 This will be followed by Ahad Qayyum, deputy-chair of the ISPD International Liaison Committee, discussing practical aspects of increasing availability of PD in Pakistan and other low healthcare resource countries in Asia.\u00a0 At the end of this webinar, attendees will have an understanding how the goal of increasing the availability of PD requires focusing on patient empowerment, healthcare team education, developing networks round centres of excellence and political advocacy.<\/p>\n<p
